Rules for Pitching Machine:

• Pitching machine set at 35' from home plate

• Pitching machine will be set between 30 - 33 mph. Speed will be measured by radar gun and then marked on the machine itself

• Same pitching machine will be used

• Coach from batting team will feed the balls

• Defensive pitcher will be required to stay inside the circle

• The machine and coach feeding the machine are live. Rules regarding "dead ball" or "foul ball" will be the same as they are for umpires

• Umpires will still call balls and strikes

• Machine can be adjusted after 2 consecutive bad pitches and under the umpire's disrection. Two to three more balls can be thrown with the batter out of the batter's box to verify appropriate pitch location

• Home plate will be "hot" and rules in IWVYS rules and regulation apply
